Rental Agreements

Lease agreements drafted or reviewed, for landlords and tenants, residential or commercial.

Typical appointment: 45 min

Cyprus runs two different rental regimes side by side, and which one applies to your property changes everything — how much freedom you have to set terms, and how hard it is to end the tenancy. Older buildings in a handful of municipalities fall under the Rent Control Law, with strong tenant protections and disputes going to the Rent Tribunal. Everything else is a free-market tenancy under ordinary contract law. We confirm which regime applies to your Cyprus property, then draft or review the agreement so the terms actually protect the side we're working for.
