If you hold a residence permit here, your family may be able to join you — but eligibility depends on your permit, not only on the family relationship. Being married is not enough on its own. The sponsor generally has to have been living in Cyprus legally for at least two years, hold a permit category that allows reunification, and show income, accommodation and health cover for everyone.
There is one exception worth knowing about: where the sponsor works for a company approved to employ foreign personnel, the two-year requirement can be waived at the Department's discretion. If you are considering a company of foreign interest, this changes the timeline for your family considerably.
Be realistic about the wait. These applications are examined over months rather than weeks, so the documents from your home country should be collected early — and remember they'll need apostilles and sworn translations before they can be used.
